On our panel we shall have two eminent consultants from EY, who will share with us their thoughts on how the interviewing process works alongside a sneak peek into their lives as consultants. Register here: https://bit.ly/interviewsecrets1 Coordinates: 25th September 5pm ET About the panelists: Sandra Gurijala is a Principal at EY in their National Tax Practice, Transaction Economics Group. She is a graduate from the IEOR Department with a BS in Engineering Management Systems and a minor in Economics. At EY, she leads a team responsible for economic analyses for tax purposes. She is actively involved in assisting clients with IRS challenges around debt vs. equity treatment, credit rating issues and complex financial instrument valuation issues. She has prepared comprehensive documentation submitted in relation to IRS Appeals Conferences as well as for state audit purposes and has presented and participated in numerous meetings with taxing authorities. Sandra’s clients include multi-national corporations in a variety of industries including the following: life sciences, specialty pharmaceuticals, consumer products, retail, oil & gas, specialty chemicals, utilities, manufacturing, medical devices, packaging, insurance, metals & mining, financial services, and technology, media & telecommunications. Yumi is a Senior Manager in Ernst & Young LLP’s National Tax Department. Her focus has been on developing financial models used to inform tax planning and structuring decisions in transactional contexts, for both US and non-US clients. Since joining Ernst & Young in 2012, her consulting experience has included partnership tax planning for joint-venture formations, IPOs, MLP and yield co structures, mergers and acquisitions, and internal reorganizations; public-private partnership advisory; real estate transactions, including leasing arrangements and REIT conversions; and related-party debt issuance benchmarking.
